When the MaxTrax Recovery system is overloaded, the Fuse Shackle is engineered to be the weakest link, serving as the intended break point. Always utilize approved recovery points when using MaxTrax Recovery sets.
Safety Recommendations: It is advised that the Maximum Breaking Strength of the recovery rope should be between 2 and 3 times the gross vehicle mass of the vehicle being recovered.
