MaxTrax Shackle Shields are designed as a protective cover that slides over MaxTrax Core Shackles and Fuse Shackles. They provide added protection against abrasions and sharp edges at recovery points, extending the lifespan of Soft Shackles.
Recovery points often have 90-degree angles, which are not recommended for use with Soft Shackles as they may damage the fibers during recoveries.
MaxTrax Shackle Shields are compatible with all brands of Soft Shackles and can be attached to ropes up to 14 mm in diameter. Made from thermoplastic polyurethane, flexible and strong to protect the fibers of the soft shackle.
