The MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION is designed to be a static element during vehicle recovery operations. It can be used as an extension in towing recoveries, linked with MAXTRAX KINETIC ROPES or WINCH CABLES to increase the total length.
Designed and tested as part of the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM, this extension is best used with all MAXTRAX products. If the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM is overloaded, the MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE is designed as the weakest point.
Safety Advice: The minimum breaking strength of the rope should be 2 to 3 times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of any vehicle it is used with.
